Mansion Sports - Real Madrid is reportedly open to the possibility of parting ways with Brazilian forward Rodrygo Goes during this summer’s transfer window, although the player’s destination remains uncertain. 

Despite Rodrygo previously expressing a desire to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu, the tactical shift under new manager Xabi Alonso could significantly diminish his role in the upcoming season.

Real Madrid Will Not Block Rodrygo’s Departure If the Price Is Right

While Los Blancos are not actively pushing Rodrygo out of the club, they are equally unwilling to stand in his way should a satisfactory offer be submitted. Ultimately, the decision lies with the 23-year-old forward himself. 

Initially, Arsenal emerged as the frontrunner to secure Rodrygo’s services. However, Liverpool has since overtaken the Gunners as the most likely destination for the former Santos star.

Tottenham Hotspur Officially Joins the Pursuit

According to a report by Diario AS, Tottenham Hotspur has formally entered the competition to sign Rodrygo, joining a list of high-profile suitors that includes Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Arsenal. 

That said, Bayern and Arsenal appear to be shifting their focus toward other transfer targets in the near term.

Tottenham is said to have pledged full support to newly appointed head coach Thomas Frank, including financial backing for squad reinforcement. 

Rodrygo is reportedly among the names being seriously considered, although it remains unclear whether the player himself is interested in a move to North London. 

Furthermore, club chairman Daniel Levy is rumored to be exploring the possibility of negotiating a reduced transfer fee, with Real Madrid currently valuing the player at €90 million.

Meanwhile, Liverpool has reportedly opened preliminary talks with Rodrygo’s representatives, viewing him as a potential replacement for Luis Díaz should the Colombian finalize a move to Bayern Munich. The Merseyside club is considering Rodrygo for the left-wing role in their attacking formation.
